Exposing Islam – Who is God’s True Seal of Prophethood, Jesus or Muhammad?

It will be clear, after you finish reading this article as to who the seal of prophethood really is?

The Qur’an claims that Muhammad is God’s seal of prophethood, and therefore the last and final messenger to mankind:

“Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.” – Qur’an 33:40

It is important for one to realize that the Qur’an was written at least 600 years after the Bible, therefore, it’s the one that could be modified if need be.

Anyone can write a book and claims the same thing; does that mean that he/she is undoubtedly what he/she claims to be? No. We need evidence to prove his/her claim. For example, Jesus claimed that the prophets of old wrote about Him:

He said to them, “This is what I told you, while I was still with you, that all things which are written in the Law of Moses, the prophets, and the psalms, concerning ME (Jesus) MUST BE FULFILLED. – Luke 24:44

Jesus didn’t just make this claim, those prophecies were indeed fulfilled in Him: His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14) fulfilled in Luke 1:26-31; His birth place (Micah 5:2) fulfilled in Matthew 2:1-6; His Death (Isaiah 53, Psalm 22, Daniel 9:24-26) etc…

In one occasion, after reading the book of Isaiah 42:1-7 (cf. Isaiah 61:1-3) in the Synagogue on a Sabbath day, the Bible records:

16 He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. He entered, as was his custom, into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. He opened the book, and found the place where it was written,
18  “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim release to the captives, recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed,
19 and to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (See Isaiah 42:1-7 and 61:1-3)
20 He closed the book, gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
21
He began to tell them, “TODAY, THIS SCRIPTURE HAS BEEN FULFILLED in your hearing.” – Luke 4:16-21

He claimed to be the one who fulfilled Isaiah 42:1-7 (cf. Isaiah 61:1-3). You can find the full article inhere.

We expect to see the similar thing from Muhammad if indeed he came to confirm and fulfil any prophecy from the Bible he claimed that was written about him; but there is none! He made claims he couldn’t back up, so Muslims of today are the ones who try their best to find those prophecies without success and get frustrated and accuse the Bible of being corrupted without a proof. The ones they try to use always end up proving that Muhammad was a false prophet. Here are those passages they usually refer to (I don’t know if they have new ones yet) that I already refuted: Deuteronomy 18:18; Song of Solomon 5:16; Isaiah 29:12; Isaiah 42:1; John 14:16-17, 26; John 15:26

Jesus claimed that God the Father gave Him His Seal of approval:

“Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed HIS SEAL OF APPROVAL. John 6:27

Part of Jesus’ claims, which God has given His approval to, includes His statement that He is the final messenger and the Son of God that was killed:

He began to speak to them in parables. “A man planted a vineyard, put a hedge around it, dug a pit for the wine press, built a tower, rented it out to a farmer, and went into another country.
When it was time, he sent a servant to the farmer to get from the farmer his share of the fruit of the vineyard.
3 They took him, beat him, and sent him away empty.
4 Again, he sent another servant to them; and they threw stones at him, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated.
Again he sent another; and they killed him; and many others, beating some, and killing some.
Therefore STILL HAVING ONE, HIS BELOVED SON, HE SENT HIM LAST to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
7 But those farmers said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’
They took him, KILLED HIM, and cast him out of the vineyard.– Mark 12:1-8

After sending his servants the prophets, God sent His beloved Son last of all. This indicates that Jesus believed that He was not just the last messenger sent by God to the people, but that He was also God’s beloved Son and the Heir of all things (Cf. Matthew 28:18; Luke 10:22; John 5:17-31; 10:36; 13:3; 16:13-15; 17:10; Hebrews 1:2-3) who was indeed killed by them as He implicated in the parable.

In fact, the Father Himself testified that Jesus is His beloved Son:

“At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan. As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: ‘YOU ARE MY SON, WHOM I LOVE; with you I am well pleased.’”Mark 1:9-11

“After six days Jesus took Peter, James and John with him and led them up a high mountain, where they were all alone. There he was transfigured before them. His clothes became dazzling white, whiter than anyone in the world could bleach them. And there appeared before them Elijah and Moses, who were talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, ‘Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.’ (He did not know what to say, they were so frightened.) Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: ‘THIS IS MY SON, WHOM I LOVE. LISTEN TO HIM!Mark 9:2-7

This by itself is sufficient to prove that Muhammad is not God’s prophet or seal since he denied God’s testimony regarding the divine sonship of Christ (Qur’an 9:30). As he also denied that Jesus was crucified and killed (Qur’an 4:157).

Muhammad came to preach another gospel which the Apostles had already warned 600 years earlier, and thus stands condemned by so doing:

6 I marvel that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ to a different “good news”; 7 and there isn’t another “good news.” Only there are some who trouble you, and want to pervert the Good News of Christ. But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you any “good news” other than that which we preached to you, LET HIM BE CURSED. 9 As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any “good news” other than that which you received, LET HIM BE CURSED.– Galatians 1:6-9

Conclusion

Muhammad can never be a prophet of God, let alone the seal of prophethood. The Apostle John made it clear before ending the book of revelation that God’s revelation is sealed, thus condemned anyone who tries to add or take away from what is in it:

18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, IF ANYONE ADDS TO THEM, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book. 19 IF ANYONE TAKES AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book. 20 He who testifies these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus. Revelation 22:18-19

By changing the teachings recorded in the Bible therefore, I conclude that Muhammad is experiencing the plagues that are written in it, in hell right now.

Come to Christ, O Muslims! You don’t have to join Muhammad. Jesus died for you!

    1. Sorry, but I have no clue about what you are trying to say here.

      One question though:

History hows that Jesus was crucified. So does Quran 4:157 says he wasn’t crucified? Can you provide an historical evidence to support this?

      Thank you.
